Vivian Bresnitz is a graduate of New York City’s School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Photography (’82). Her work has been exhibited in New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

After college, Vivian worked in professional photo labs in New York and Rhode Island, but in 1991, she shifted gears, moving to Western Massachusetts to become a Massage, Polarity, and Neuromuscular Therapist, taking a hiatus from photography.  In 2014, a friend reignited her photo  passion with a gift: his retired pro DSLR camera. Vivian assisted him and other professional photographers, eventually going out on her own with a new camera, building a portfolio of wedding, event, presentation, high school portrait and family photography. (All the while remaining a full-time massage therapist!)

While the 2020 pandemic temporarily slowed her event work, it also opened up time for long walks in the neighborhood, the woods and beyond—always with a camera in hand. Vivian widened her focus to include personal interests and has returned to exhibiting, as well as resuming work for hire.
