In 2022, I embarked on my longest walk yet: 72 miles in the middle of El Camino, from Burgos to León, Spain. Traveling necessarily light—just a backpack and an iPhone—I found the vast landscapes and skies breathtaking. El Camino is known as a religious pilgrimage: though that was not my own personal intention, it was absolutely spiritual and emotional.

This series (displayed in geographical order) evidences my “LOOK at THAT!” mindset; the wonder of “isn’t it SOMETHING?!” Observing the spatial layout, the color, shapes, textures, the vastness…seeing the ‘stories’. I’m always trying to bring these visions “home” to the viewer to experience [or to urge them to go see for themselves!].
